Stoles/Pashminas

What do you call a garment like this?! The modern term is 'pashmina' but these are not made using pashm so are not, technically pashminas. I call them stoles which is what I have always known them as - it is an argument that could go on all day so take your choice, either is relevant and you still get a unique hand woven garment to treasure.
